About
Welcome to Progamming Space, a blog about computers, astronomy and anything else related that comes to mind. Here I hope to share some of my exeriences, activities, and lessons learned as a programmer and astronomer.
Trained as an astronomer (BS Physics 1996, MS Astronomy 1999, Ph.D. Astronomy 2003), I’m a self-taught programmer who has been writing code off and on since I got my first computer (a Sinclair ZX81) in 1978. Currently I work as a software developer for Wyle Information systems on a contract for NASA. In addition to being a code monkey, I’ve also served for a year as the Software Development Manager on another NASA contract.
All statements and opinions expressed in this blog are completely my own and do not represent official positions of my employers (past or present), NASA, or any other group I may have been affilitated with.
